Our Story
Gunpowder Kombucha Co. was born in Annecy in the French Alps in 2020.
Our kombucha is traditionally brewed in small 30-litre batches to preserve quality, character, and full control over the fermentation process. We use only organic tea and organic cane sugar, with absolutely no preservatives or artificial additives.
Unlike industrial kombucha available in supermarkets, our kombucha is not pasteurised, which means it remains 100% alive and rich in naturally occurring cultures, giving it its fresh taste and gentle effervescence.
Because this is a living beverage, fermentation continues over time, so it must be kept refrigerated to maintain its balance, flavour, and natural sparkle. Naturally sparkling, thanks to double fermentation, its highly refreshing and low in sugar
